About us
Fresh Shawarma is an authentic shawarma kitchen on Aylestone Road. Chicken and lamb are marinated, stacked on the spit and roasted slowly, then sliced to order — nothing is carved before you ask for it.
Off the spit
Have your shawarma the way you like it: rolled in a warm wrap with salad, sauce, fries and a can; packed into a toasted samun loaf; on a plate with chips or with fresh naan; or as a full box meal. Chicken, lamb, or a mix of both.
Not eating meat? Every one of those comes with crisp falafel too.
From the oven and the grill
Whole and half chickens, marinated and roasted on the grill. Fatayer and calzone baked with cheese, veg, chicken, lamb or mix, and 10-inch pizzas — from a simple margherita to our chicken, lamb and mix shawarma pizzas.
Collect, or we deliver
We are open every day from 11am to 11pm. Order on this site and collect from the counter at 290 Aylestone Road, or from 4pm have it delivered within 3 miles. You will also find us on Uber Eats, Just Eat and Deliveroo.
